About KOSB

The establishment of the Kırklareli Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) began in 1977. In 1990, the OSB was included in the investment program, and in 1993, its official location was determined as Düzyol Area of Kızılcıkdere Village, situated 14 km from the city center.
With the approval of the Prime Ministry, an area of 93 hectares and 4,836 m² was expropriated in 1994 and registered under the Kırklareli Provincial Administration in 1995.
The OSB was jointly established by the Kırklareli Provincial Administration (51%), the Kırklareli Municipality (33%), and the Kırklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry (16%).
Due to high demand, the OSB area was expanded to 400 hectares in 1997. In line with the Organized Industrial Zones Law and Implementation Regulation enacted in 2000 and 2002, its management structure was reorganized, and in 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Kırklareli OSB gained legal entity status.
